Prayer of Thanks ...for Ginga from your kids, grandkids, and great grandkids!

Dear Lord, we thank and praise you for our Mother and Grandmother.

We thank you for her wisdom, guidance, sense of humor, and unceasing and relentless devotion to her family.

Thank you Lord for giving us a Mother who is unbelievably strong and resilient.

We are grateful for a Mother of nine who always allowed us to be individuals.

We are grateful for a Mother of nine who made us feel that we are a unit, one family, tied with love.

Thank you Lord that Mom loves her children’s spouses as her own.

Thank you Lord for Mom’s commitment and love to every single one of us, unconditionally. Right or Wrong. Good or Bad. Day and Night.

Thank you Lord for a Mother whose priorities include a clean home, a hot dinner, clean white sheets --- and not self.

Lord, thank you for a Mother who will talk to you any hour of the night, about anything, or about nothing.

Thank you for giving Mom the strength to keep her going, loving, walking up and down stairs, knowing more about politics and the government than most people, the ability to moan and groan about whatever is bugging her on Fox news, and still find the energy to go to Foxwoods!

Thank you for giving us a Mother who laid the foundation for us to come to know you.

Thank you for a Mother who is honest, sincere, and very opinionated. She pulls no punches, yet is gentle and kind when necessary.

Thank you Lord for a Mother who knows how to push my buttons and keep me on my toes.

I thank you Lord for a Mother who knows when to be tender and when to be tough; for being flexible about things that weren’t important and inflexible about things that were.

Lord, thank you for the hard life experiences Mom has lived through. They made her who she is and made me who I am.

Lord, we ask that you ease her pain, give her peace and joy in her life. Help us to have patience with her when she can’t hear, or remember.

Help us to never forget the sacrifices she has made for us to have a better life. Help the Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren to have bright and vivid and living memories of her long after she has gone home.

This is my prayer of thanks to the Lord for the blessing of a one of a kind Mother.

In Jesus name!

Undeserved Grace
